My name is Myranda Reimer, Physiotherapist with advanced Women’s and Pelvic health training and Certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Athleticism, here to help you understand your changing body and guide you through exercise during this amazing and challenging chapter of your life.

At Home Workouts

Workouts are available through the LIFT app and can be completed at your convenience. Connect with Myranda to help you determine best day each week to move your body and learn!

Equipment: 2 dumbells and 1 large loop resistance band

*Option to complete workouts in a gym near you

In-person exercise classes

Wednesday evenings at 6:45-7:45pm

Dates: October 5, 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9

Location: Synergy Strength, Saskatoon, SK.

Each workout, in person or from home, includes pregnancy related information integrated into mobility and strength exercises. Myranda will make sure the workout is exactly what you need it to be by helping you make adjustments in person by your side or via messaging from home!

All speakers are local to Saskatoon, have specialized training and are passionate about supporting women through pregnancy and beyond! They look forward to answering your specific questions and connecting with you very soon!

*All sessions at 6:45 - 8:00pm via Zoom

  • Monday October 17 - Registered Dietitian

  • Monday October 24 - Obstetrician

  • Monday November 7 - Birth worker, Doula and Registered Massage Therapist

  • Monday November 14 - Registered Social Worker

  • Sunday November 20 - Speech Language Pathologist and Lactation Consultant

*Recordings will be available for replay through the LIFT app 3-5 days following the day

Self Paced Educational Videos

Over 3 hours of mini lessons (4-9 minutes in length) that will help you learn more about:

  • How to adjust exercise for each trimester

  • Managing Expectations, mindset & movement longevity planning

  • Core anatomy and adaptation (including pelvic floor specifics)

  • Postural changes and walking guidance

  • Simple strategies to address common pregnancy symptoms

  • How to prepare your pelvic floor for delivery and movements to include that can support your labor

Community

Find support with and for other ladies eager to learn just like you! At the end of each expert presenter’s session we will connect briefly for the opportunity to share, ask questions and chat with other ladies in the group! Myranda will also add you to the WhatsApp group to stay connect with everyone! Myranda will also be available personally to help you at a distance.

This 6 week series is all about providing space for movement, guidance and community for you while you continue on your pregnancy journey!
